Hello! My name is Tom, and I want to tell you about my family and our favorite memories. My family is small but very close. There are four of us: my mom, dad, little sister Emily, and me.

One of my favorite memories is our summer trip to the lake last year. It was a warm, sunny day, and we packed a picnic with sandwiches, fruit, and cookies. My dad brought his fishing rod, and we tried to catch some fish. We didn’t catch anything, but we laughed a lot! My sister and I swam in the lake while my mom sat on a blanket and read her book.

Another special memory is Christmas at our grandparents’ house. Every year, we visit them, and it is so much fun. My grandma makes the best cookies, and my grandpa tells funny stories about when he was young. Last Christmas, we all played board games, and Emily won every time. I don’t know how she does it!

I also remember a rainy day when the power went out in our house. We couldn’t watch TV or play on our phones, so we lit candles and played cards together. My mom made hot chocolate, and we talked about our dreams and plans. It was such a simple day, but it was very special to me.

My family loves spending time together. On weekends, we often go for walks in the park or play football in the garden. My dad always says, “It doesn’t matter what we do, as long as we are together.”

I feel lucky to have so many happy memories with my family. They are not just my family – they are also my best friends.
